Funeral and medical bills For Mary Vallozzi
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amber. I am Mary’s niece. As everyone knows Mary has suffered with many medical issues for many years. Back in early June when we had lots of smoke in the air from the wild fires Mary was having a really hard time with breathing. Her husband Phil ended up taking her to the ER where she was admitted and diagnosed with double pneumonia in both lungs. The doctors were trying to get her lungs strong enough to where she could breathe on her own without the ventilator but her lungs were way too damaged and weak that she couldn’t breathe without the machines. She ended up having a tracheostomy done and had a feeding tube put in. Shortly after she was transferred to a rehab/hospital in Atlantic City. The doctors there gave her a Valium and she ended up having a bad reaction to that to the point where she was unresponsive for about a week. After that she was starting to do good given the circumstances. Unfortunately last night, 7/11, she had a massive stroke which lead to her having hemorrhaging in her brain, which then left her brain dead. Mary passed away today July 12, 2023. We are asking anyone and everyone if you can to help her husband and kids, Jessica and Anthony, with any amount of donation you can. She unfortunately did not have life insurance or any kind of savings. We want to give Mary the funeral she deserves and to help Phil with any medical bills or any other bills he needs help with because he has missed a lot of time to be by her side. As of right now there is no service date planned. As soon as Phil gets everything situated and has a date I will update on here. Thank you everyone in advanced!
***UPDATE** There will be a viewing on 7/18 from 10am-11am at Rocap Shannon’s Funeral Home. Following that we will have a luncheon at Phils mothers house (3017 Gage Ave Millville). Anyone that would like to donate a covered dish, sodas, paper products, water, or desserts please reach out to me (Amber). Again, thank you everyone for everything. Let’s all remember Mary and what a beautiful person she was!
