Send Kiah to Nationals!!!

Meet Kiah!  She is my amazing daughter.  Kiah is a Senior at Memorial High School in Eau Claire, WI.  Kiah has a wonderful opportunity to take one giant step closer to reaching her dreams.   Let me explain...

A few months ago Kiah was approached by her High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Advisor.  They wanted Kiah to not only join FBLA, but to compete at Regionals in Accounting!  Kiah walked into the competition cold and took 2nd place!!!  This secured her a place at the State competition.

Let me pause here and tell you a little more about Kiah.  Her entire life, she has LOVED numbers.  It didn't matter if she was counting her puzzle pieces as a two year old or balancing her check book as the young lady she is today.  Numbers have always been her strength.  A year ago she applied for and earned an internship with a local credit union here and works as a bank teller.  Kiah is a National Honors Society student and takes her grades and her future very seriously!  Kiah will be heading to college in the fall to work on getting her CPA and beginning her career in finance.  Someday she hopes to be a CFO with a Fortune 500 company!

Back to the story...Recently Kiah competed in the State FBLA Accounting competition....and again she took 2nd place!  This time she managed to find a few hours to study, and it paid off! 

What's next????

Kiah qualified for the FBLA National competition in Atlanta, GA this summer.  She knows what a wonderful opportunity this is for her and plans to work hard studying so she can bring home a win for Wisconsin!  

Sadly, the school district does not help fund her or her Advisors for the trip.  We need to raise $2500 so she can pay her registration fees and travel expenses.  Please help in any way you can.  Any donation is appreciated and if you can't donate please forward this to anyone you think may be able or willing to help.
