Jennifer Connelly's Medical Needs

My daughter, Jennifer Preiss Connelly, was discovered unresponsive by her 11 year old daughter Matea on April 6, 2016 at 6am.  She was taken to Genisys Hospital where they discovered a brain aneurysm.  She was rushed to St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw where there was a neurosurgeon available to perform the six hour surgery.  She has been in a medically induced coma since her surgery.

Matea lost her father when she was only four years old.  A year later I had heart surgery and Jennifer took care of me for over a year.   Then two years later I had more heart problems and am on dialysis three times a week, and again Jennifer has been taking care of me until her recent brain trauma.

Jennifer's medical bills are adding up quickly, as well as legal fees for me to obtain medical and financial power of attorney so that I can make necessary decisions for the care of both Jennifer and Matea.

Her doctors say she is very ill and may not recover completely.  The part of her brain that has been damaged controls her right side as well as her speech and memory.

Jennifer's condition makes it improbable that she will ever be able to care for Matea on her own again, and we need your help, not only financially, but spiritually as well.  Any amount you can donate to make this struggle a little easier will be greatly appreciated.
