The evening, the 3rd of August, the beloved Colin Edwards' Texas Tornado Boot Camp instructor, Steven Bodak was struck from behind by a vehicle while riding his bicycle near his home in Willis, TX.
As a result of the accident, Steven suffered severe and life threatening head trauma.
It's with our heaviest of hearts that we say, Steven Bodak has passed away this evening of August 6th.
He is survived by his wife, Season Bodak, son Thane Bodak, father Steve Bodak, mother Marcia Bodak as well as sisters Stephanie Nicholson and Stacey Scott.
"Bodak is an organ donor," says Colin Edwards. "Even with his passing, he gives others the opportunity of life. Steven will save up to eight lives and help many many more. He will certainly be their miracle. We have all strived and will continue to strive to be the man that he was."
Steven was a wonderful man, husband, father and friend. Bodak was loved and respected by so many, especially by his Texas Tornado Boot Camp family.
