Funeral services for Terry Glenn Bogle, 60, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy McDonald and Pastor Michael Butler officiating.

Terry Glenn Bogle was born March 25, 1962 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Arthur Hugh Bogle and Juanita Carol (Johnson) Bogle. He passed from this life on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Terry grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1980.

In 1979 while he was on a date with Kay Cocheran, he fell in love at first sight and they were married December 28, 1981, in Cement, Oklahoma. She was the love of his life, and they shared 40 wonderful years and two amazing daughters, who he called “Slim” and “Baby Girl.”

Terry worked in the oilfield most of his life. Through the years, he coached baseball and softball. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to the lake and liked to golf. He liked to dance like Michael Jackson and was the life of the party, lighting up the room with his energy. He was full of life with a big heart and would help anyone. He was the best confidante; you could tell him your secrets and he would keep them.

He was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Jackie Bogle and Ted Bogle, and mother-in-law LaVelle Cocheran.

Survivors are his wife, Kay of the home; daughter and son-in-law Keisha and Lewis Sorrels and their children Peyton, Trey, Keirah and Jaxsyn, all of Cement; daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Matt Haney and their son Grant, all of Cement; sister Linda Presley and husband Mike of Chickasha; brothers Sam Bogle and wife Teresa of Oklahoma City, James Bogle and wife Mary of Chickasha, Ronnie Bogle and wife Sherri of Amber, Mike Bogle and wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City, and Allan Bogle and wife Susan of Chickasha; father-in-law Wiley Cocheran of Cement and sister-in-law Diane Cogburn of Cement; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, October 13th from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
