Action trackstander chair fund
Donation protected
My name is Cody Patten, I'm 21 years old and have been in a wheelchair for almost 3 years now. I am asking for donations to raise money for an action track chair. With the purchase of this motorized wheel chair I will have more accessibility at my home and job at our family campground as well as for all things I love to do including hunting and fishing. This chair would give me the ability to access terrain I am currently incapable of or at the very least have a hard time accessing. I could get through the woods, across gravel roads, and through fields with more ease. This chair also gives me the ability to stand in different positions and sits me up and down. This function of the chair is most beneficial to me in regards to mobility in my legs. My injury is a T-9 level incomplete spinal cord injury which means my spinal cord was only damaged in my accident and not completely severed. The incomplete diagnosis I was given also means that I may some day recover some to all function and feeling in my legs. In order to do that I have to be able to get that exercise and routine back with my legs in order for my spinal cord memory to possibly relearn this function again. I can't explain enough the benefits this chair will give me in my new lifestyle. I would more than appreciate any and every donation you could give to me to work towards my goal. Unfortunately all machines and equipment for the disabled is expensive and it's hard to gain any kind of assistance towards this. Thanks in advance for any donations. Sincerely, Cody
