Lynus’s Blanket of Security

Lynus Brian Parker is a good friend and neighbor. He is well known in our Novi community. Many of you know how he suffered with COVID-19. He spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital and then time in rehabilitation to learn to use his arms and legs again.He also has to learn to swallow again because all the time on the ventilator paralyzed his vocal cord. After 90 days, he still has a feeding tube.He lost 50 pounds of muscle. Lynus was such an active, involved man prior to Covid. Now he has scaring on his lungs and pressure ulcers on his rear.He can not lift his right arm and needs a wheelchair because of nerve damage and muscle atrophy. He has post Covid Stress Disorder and sleep issues. Lynus is fearful of the future.How will he support his family? Will he ever be the healthy man that he was?
