Scott & Bobbie Keeter
Donation protected
Scott & Bobbie Keeter were out for a ride on their motorcycle when a Tulsa Police Officer hit them with his patrol car at 116th & Delaware.
Both Scott & Bobbie have endured multiple surgeries. Scott also sustained some brain damage as a result of being hit and had to learn how to walk and talk again! Both have rods in their legs, Bobbie's whole left leg is rods. She has undergone bone grafts and skin grafts as well as an internal stimulator to help with bone growth. She also has a plate in her left leg. They are both in pain daily!!
Scott hasn't been the same since the accident, sometimes you talk to him and sometimes you talk to a kid. He is also now Diabetic and takes 13 pills a day as well as Insulin. If Scott tries to walk around their apartment, he's down for 2-3 days afterwards. He can't do simple tasks such as walking and talking. Both of them have also been placed on anti-anxiety medicine.
Bobbie is the only one able to work now but she's in so much pain after working that she goes straight to bed. They have so many medical bills and she can only pay for the bare essentials. They have lost everything as a result of this accident. They had to sell his truck and tools to pay rent and they live paycheck to paycheck.
They are grateful for everything that people have done for them this far!
It has been 3 years since the accident but they are not out of the woods yet and will likely both require more surgeries in the future! Bobbie goes back to the Dr soon to find out if her leg is healing. If not, she will require another surgery!
They will both always be in pain and will always have problems with their legs!!!
All donations will be given directly to Scott & Bobbie to help with medical bills and the cost of everyday living since Scott is no longer able to provide for his family!!
If you can't donate, please share their story so others can see!! Prayers are always welcome!!
Thank you!
