Financial Emergency

****New Update.... I am very happy to say that we have found a new more affordable place to live.

There were some issues with the landlord so it was best to part ways. We are so very thankful for those that helped here, cash app, venmo, PayPal and in person .

I know Christmas was just here. And I

really hate to ask the village. We are set to have our keys to move in on December 31st. We are a bit short for the last month rent that we need. We have the security deposit, and first month rent. If anyone can help with even a $1 it would greatly be appreciated. I also included in the updated amount need for 3 twin mattresses for my children that I found cheap on Walmart.com

We appreciate y'all so much helping through these difficult times and helping to get us back on our feet.

***Small update 

My mom passed away on August 25 2023. I'm so heartbroken. If I wasn't down and out already this makes everything harder. Anything that is donated will also go towards having a small memorial for her and her cremation. I appreciate all the love and support I have received this far. Thank you village.

Hi, My name is Angela. It's so hard to come here and ask for help. I was always taught that it takes a village. And I am humbly coming to the village to ask for help for myself and my children.

Due to recent unforeseen medical conditions that have come up for me. I have had to take time off from work. I am collecting short-term disability through my employer it's not enough for what we need. I am not certain yet how long I will be out. The doctor just recently extended my stay out of work.

My oldest daughter does work, but recently her clients have been in and out of the hospital. When they are in the hospital she does not get paid. Which is causing even more strain on us. She has been putting in applications for other jobs in the meantime. My son also has applications for jobs out there as well. He normally helps to care for his sister that has two forms of epilepsy and can not be left alone. I am so grateful for his help on days that his older sister and I would work.

We are still paying to finish June's rent. We need help with getting our July rent paid and August rent paid on time if possible. Our rent is $1875. Even though my landlord has been patient and understanding with the payments I'm able to make toward our rent. He has been stressing for us to get caught up asap.

I have reached out to local places that assist with emergency rental assistance and have been told they currently do not have funds available.

I have also applied at our county assistant office for help with food and anything else that they can do to aid us at this time. I'm waiting to hear back.

We are also behind on our vehicle car note and utilities. We have been paying what we can. We are at risk of losing our vehicle if we can't get the payment that the bank is asking for.

I understand everyone is struggling. I appreciate any help that your heart would like to give. If you are local to my area and want to donate food or anything we are grateful for that too.
