Help us Participate in the Lithuanian Dance Festival 2024

The Lithuanian Song and Dance Festival is a widespread cultural tradition for Lithuanians at home and abroad. These national celebrations are held every four years in Lithuania as well as overseas since 1924.

In 2003, UNESCO proclaimed the tradition of Song and Dance Celebrations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia as “Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” and added it to the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008.

This year’s festival is even more important because is celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the first Song and Dance Festival.

Dance group “Mituva” has an opportunity to participate in the festival this summer and join 9 thousand other dancers from around the world.
