Words below are from Harriett Pams sister.
On behalf of me and my family I want to express my most sincere gratitude for the extreme amount of love and support given to us from the entire community. Pam was an outspoken advocate for all and always wanted equality for everyone. She would stand up to defend anyone. The world is facing unprecedented times and we’ve had enough. Pam always spoke of her love for her friends and family but had an extreme love for her customers. Many people, including myself, wonder how a “convenience store clerk “could be so happy. She would proudly discuss daily stories of interactions with her “regulars” often leaving my mom to wonder whom she loved more. It’s only now that I realize just what she meant when she would say she loved her village. Thank you all again for your support and outpour of love. It is not going unnoticed. 8-3-2020
Her name was Pam. you everyone for your generosity. We We are blessed to have such a Great Garden Ridge Community supporting Pam. She lived with her mom and pets . Pams mother has breast cancer and Pams dogs one blind and the other has medical issues. We are very blessed to reach our goal in less than a day so many people have reached out to me to raise the limit. Garden Ridge community you are awesome and we are blessed to be apart of this great community.
Thank you

Pam known to all was the most kind hearted person anyone would ever come across. She would come to anyone’s defense and fight for the rights of all. She was an avid animal lover and was a loving mother to her two dogs and cat. She purposely chose to adopt elderly animals in an effort to better their quality of life. She never had much but would give all she had to anyone in need. Our mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and she stepped up to assist. My mom begged her not to work there anymore for fear of this very reason. She adamantly refused because of her extreme love for her customers. Those that knew her know that she didn’t know a stranger. Our lives are forever changed. To her cowardice murderer: you took a life over a few dollars and didn’t even have the courage to look in her eyes. She gave you all she had and would have held the door for you as you left. I can’t wait for the day that I can look in your eyes and dare you to look away!
