Jeni's Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, thanks for taking a look at this page.
I'm Jeni's daughter, Mandi. If you know me, you are sure to know my mom as I talk about her all the time. If you know my mom Jeni, you are sure to have heard about me (haha) as my mom likes to talk about me and my daughter Kinsley to anyone she talks to.
This is the crappy part. My mom was diagnosed in April 2016 with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. Yup, Cancer. This sent me in a little bit of a freak out as I was confused on how the strongest woman I know, could be so sick and not show it. Well, unfortunatly it's true, she is.
She has some amazing doctors on her side, and they have reccomended chemo for 3 months to try and shrink the cancer and go from there once the 6 treatments are over. She began her treatments on May 5, and has been a fighter so far.
If you know me, OR my mom, we are stubbon and dutch and do not like to ask for help -- its hard for us; which is why setting this up is very hard for me.
My mom was working two part time jobs, equalling full time and worked 10.5 hours a day 5 days a week. She is currently on sick leave for 3 months, and hoping to get EI during this time-- but, that will NOT cover the expenses that come along with being off sick and cancer treatments. Having two part time jobs, she does NOT have benefits, nor does she have any kind of drug plan -- which in turn, makes cancer quite expensive. On top of that, she still has all the normal expenses of daily living.
This is where I come to the ask. My mom will not ask for help, she will try and find a way to make ends meet but in this case she needs our help. Help from you and me.
I am asking that if you are able to assist financially, that will be very helpful. She has no idea that I am doing this, nor would she like it that I am (as she doesnt like asking for help) but in this case I know she will need it. Her life has been turned upside down in the last month, and she is now facing challenges that some of us have never even dreamed of facing.
We have been overwelmed with support and questions of what can others do to help. Well, this is it.
Sooo that brings me to the end of my speal, and ask for help for my mom. If you have anything to spare, $2, $5 or even $20, I would be forever thankful to you. And my mom will absolutly positivly appreciate it.
I am so thankful for the support that my family has been shown in the last 3 weeks as all this has come to light. The power of prayer has kept us all safe, in good spirits and strong as we walk by my moms side through this journey. God is Good, and He will bring her through this!
Thank you all, God Bless <3
