It is with much excitement that we announce the Markham Lightning U11 Rep Girls soccer team has been selected to compete in an International Soccer Tournament in Disney World this July! This competitive team is one of the top teams in Ontario and throughout the past several years, we have been successful in almost all of the matches and tournaments we have participated in. For this reason, we are very proud and excited to represent Markham Soccer Club in an International Tournament at Disney World, Florida from July 11th to 17th , 2016. There will be more than 1000 international teams participating in this tournament from all over the world. While an experience like this is amazing for these young soccer stars, it is also very costly, and we seek your support and donations. Every dollar counts in helping make this memorable event possible. Canada has one of the top women soccer teams in the world and an opportunity like this allows these amazing young ladies to see how they compare to other teams throughout the world and see how they might further develop their athletics and achieve their dreams. Who knows, perhaps one of our girls will be the next Christine Sinclair or Kadeisha Buchanan!
We sincerely appreciate all of your support in helping make this once in a life time opportunity come true for these special girls. All proceeds from this fundraising campaign will be collected by Markham Soccer Club and will be used to cover the substantial costs for this tournament, enabling many capable players to participate in this event.
