Keep Rhode Island Beautiful

Keep Rhode Island Beautiful (No New Burrillville Power Plant) is a community of citizens concerned about the Natural Gas & Oil fueled Power Plant proposed for our beautiful town of Burrillville, Rhode Island.  The proposed site is located in the Blackstone Heritage Corridor U.S. National Park and is right next to many of our state parks, conservation areas, lakes, rivers, camps, etc.  Come for a visit, it is beautiful!

This plant will destroy and disturb hundreds of acres in this beautiful area and will release a large amount of hazardous pollutants and CO2.  We love our town and our state and we are concerned about the risk to our health & safety, water supply & quality, and the impact on the environment from this huge power plant.

We are raising funds to offset the costs of our awareness campaign to stop the approval of this plant.  There are no overhead costs as we are just a group of concerned citizens donating our time and resources to help protect our town, region, state and planet.  Therefore, all donations go directly towards getting the word out and educating people in our region.
