Medical Expenses for Arion Smith

My name is Andrea Doran and I have been the director of the Western Nevada College Child Development Center for nearly 20 years.  I have had the great pleasure of working with Arion Smith for 12 of those years.  Ms. Arion has been an integral part of the Child Development Center family as the head teacher of our infant room.  Arion has battled Leukemia for the last several years and is currently experiencing increased medical difficulty.  Due to the increasing impact of her medical condition it is no longer viable for her to maintain her position with us.  

Arion has been loved and will be missed by many families and children still here at the center and even those who have graduated from our program.  As a way to show our continued support and to express our gratitude for her long commitment to the care of this communities youngest members, we are asking you to consider making donations toward her medical expenses.

Ms. Arion has been committed to the center and to the care of hundreds of infants, lending her personal expertise and gentle nurturance to each child and his or her family.  We are now asking if you would return that care to her as she makes this very difficult and frightening transition.
