Support Hayden's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
On October 20th, Hayden was rushed to the ER after vomiting and not being able to stand. After numerous tests and scans, it was determined he had been having strokes and had a massive stroke at some point. He underwent a tube placement to relieve swelling, followed by a second surgery to remove bone to allow his brain and spinal cord to swell without hemorrhaging. He was on a ventilator fighting for his life for 12 days.

He's now still at Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital working to regain mobility and is currently unable to speak or eat. He has a long road ahead, and rehabilitation is going to be extensive. Since there is not a pediatric stroke rehabilitation in Tennessee, we may need to relocate to Georgia or Kentucky to get him the care he needs.

This was something no family prepares for and no one could have anticipated. Between missed work, his dad traveling daily between the hospital and home, the possible relocation, and upcoming medical expenses, we're reaching out for help.

This all started after putting my son on the bus, in the care of bus drivers meant to protect our children. Instead, they not only allowed him to be injured but instigated the situation.
