Please help Joseph with a trip before his surgery

Joseph is 17yrs old. He has had a lifetime of dr visits and surgeries, for a number of issues. However he has always maintained a positive outlook and is a great young man. He has had some recent problems, and we are trying to let him experience something’s before his next surgery.

We would like to take him to Disneyland, he is a huge Star Wars and Disney cars fan. Or something similar to give him a great experience .

Since spring break 2020 he has had mobility issues. Started with trouble walking and then started affecting his hands as well. In late may he was admitted to the hospital and had an mri and physical therapy. Found an issue in his neck affecting his spinal cord, in the C2 to C4 vertebrae.In October had 2 surgeries in his neck to decrease the impact on the nerves. However the recovery was slow and he did not regain the strength he should have. He continued school and graduated high school in may. Next step is a complete fusion from the base of the skull to the C5 to prevent any further complications. This will also leave him with no movement in his neck.This will need to happen this summer. He already has rods in his back from scoliosis correction in 2015.
