Chicane family in need of post-covid death support

EDIT: Please read the update. Michael has passed but we still need funds for his medical bills, funeral expenses, and housing security for his wife and daughter. My cousin, Michael Granato, 56 years old, is currently in the ICU due to COVID complications. This morning our family received news from his nurses that his condition has greatly deteriorated. Michael, a working class Chicano man, does not have solid insurance so the doctors are not doing their best to heal him. We are hoping that with some financial assistance he may have access to better treatment and hopefully find his way to recovery. Even when he hopefully recovers, he and his family will require a great amount of financial support as he is the sole provider for their family and they already live paycheck-to-paycheck; he will be unable to work for quite some time so that he may have time to heal. Should things take a turn for the worst, our family will need help funding funeral expenses and his wife, Jennifer, and 14-year-old daughter, Michaella, will be in need of money to survive on their own. After over a decade of spending his life in prison and fighting addiction he’s dedicated his life to being the best father and husband he could be, and serving the houseless community even while living in poverty himself. Michael is my cousin via my mother’s sister but before my dad’s mother died he and his wife did everything they could to take care of her. An honest man with a kind heart and the goofiest raspy laugh, it is safe to say that he is one of the most compassionate people I know. He has always tried his hardest to make sure that no one in his community, be them blood family or the houseless folks around him, goes hungry. He’s spent too many years to count cooking for those who cannot provide food for themselves. He is a truly generous and loving person who works hard to support anyone in need and now he needs our help. My mother has estimated that Michael and Jennifer will need about $50,000 to assist with his medical bills and any other expenses they may need in these coming weeks/months.
