GLASS FOR LEBANON- ALL DONATIONS MATCHED BY GO X

Hello everyone, this fundraiser is to purely help the 300,000 + homes damaged in Beirut that can accommodate window installations. New windows will not bring loved ones back home for some, but would mean the world to others.

Lebanon has been in economic and social turmoil for the past 8 months as the country has descended into poverty, despair and chaos. We will be using all the funds raised to purchase 6mm Tampered Glass from SAINT-GOBAIN (https://www.saint-gobain.com) in Columbia and have it shipped to Lebanon ASAP.

Funds will be allocated to following tasks:

- Buy as much 6mm Tampered Glass as possible and have it shipped to Tripoli Port ASAP

- Cut glass to the standard size of each building and have aluminum frames fitted

- Work with local window installers to remodel homes that can accommodate them

Here is some math behind the process: Considering the average home uses 10m of Glass

Finished Aluminum Sliding Window = $48 per meter

Aluminum Still Window = $38 per meter

10m of finished glass windows with Aluminum ($480) + Shipping ($20) + installation($50)= $550 per Home (Average)  

With $50,000 we will help 90 families approximately .

For your donations of, we would be able to help the following amount of families:

$5,000 - 9 Families

$10,000- 18 Families

$15,000- 27 Families

$20,000 - 36 Families

$30,000- 54 Families

Goal : $50,000 - 90 Families 

Go X(goxapp.com) is helping with outreach/fundraising and working with a local independent NGOs by the name Hydromena (https://hydromena.org/) and Al Ghina (https://www.alghina.org/)  that are helping with ground logistics like receiving the shipment, processing the glass and distributing it accordingly.

Sending large amounts of glass to Lebanon with a small amount of money for processing and installation will be a safe  form of help, as big amounts of cash tend to make it into government hands. My people are in pain, please help if you can. Thank you.
