Love For Baby Stockbridge

Joshua and Mikayla Stokbridge delivered their baby girl early yesterday when Mikayla woke up with bleeding that put both her and baby girl in distress. Mikayla had placenta previa and her placenta started to detach. Caralena Stockbridge came out 1lb 15oz and is so teeny, but healthy as can be. Mikayla was 27 weeks. Mikayla's iron and hemoglobin levels were very high for being pregnant and she made it through surgery without excessive blood loss and Caralena is breathing without a ventilator. She is a strong little peanut, fighting to grow and get stronger so she can go home with her mama and daddy. Until then, both Mikayla and Caralena will need close and attentive care. Cara will be in the NICU for at least 3 months, which means Josh and Mikayla will both be out of work indefinitely. Having to deal with their daughters many medical needs is hard enough, let's help ease their financial burden so they can dedicate their time to healing and caring for their sweet baby girl.
