On August 11th, 28 year old Lauren Tarver was diagnosed with breast cancer at 34 weeks gestation. Her Ob/Gyn, Dr. Sepesi, made the decision to her her induction at 37 weeks gestation. Along with other doctors reccomendations dealing with her cancer treatment, this would allow her to begin treatment as soon as possible. On August 22nd at 6:33 pm, Aubrey Rose was born healthy and pecious as could be.
Lauren will begin chemotherapy on August 26th and it will last the next 18 weeks followed by surgical removal of malignant tissues and then radiation. When she completes her 18 weeks of chemo, she will still have to receive a hormone suppressant for 1 year.
Through our faith and trust in our lord and savior Jesus Christ, an excellent medical team, and Lauren's determination to fight and battle with this beast, she will pull through and live a fruitful and blessed life.
This has already placed a ton of emotional stress on our family and soon to follow will be financial burden. We ask that you help as much as you are willing and able to. We thank you in advance and God bless you, Lauren, and her family.
