Hello Friends!! As many of you know, I requested BIG prayers for one of my dearest friends. Thank you for all the prayers. Keep them coming. Today I'm excited to share a fundraiser that Jesus put on my heart this morning ♥️

As many of you know, I'm on the last 2 weeks of training for a half marathon. This weekend was supposed to be filled with a lot of running, but my body shut down. I was broken by the devastating news that one of my dearest friends, Kayla Flynn was diagnosed with breast cancer. Please read her post for more details. I felt numb and could barely put one foot in front of the other. You see, Kayla has saved my life so many times. She's always been there for me and my family. We have so many beautiful memories together. I can honestly say a million things about Kayla and her family because I LOVE them so much.

I sat in disbelief yesterday and cried most of the day, but today I forced myself to run. AND as I was finishing up the last mile, I heard a whisper. You see, my prayers during my run were to find the most supportive ways to help Kayla fight this stupid and unfair cancer!! Here is where I need ALL of my friends to help. I'm now running this half marathon race to honor Kayla! We've known each other for just over 13 years, which is similar to the miles in a half marathon (13.1) .
