Help my son get arterial switch surgery

Hello Friends and Family, I am sharing my story in hopes of reaching my goal of $15,000 needed for my son's arterial switch surgery. My son was diagnosed of Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) with perimembranous ventricular septal defect when he was three months old. He was referred to Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile Ife, Osun state, Nigeria in February and he was booked for operation in March because thats when doctors will be available for the surgery but before the set date, there was an outbreak of corona virus so the surgery was pushed forward. He has been on medication since February 2020 till date. I spoke to the doctor recently about the surgery and he advice that the surgery be done before he turns one and it wont be possible to do it at OAU because of corona virus so I was referred to Babcock University Teaching Hospital. A test was done last week on him to see the condition of the heart and the doctor said the older he gets the higher the risk of the surgery. He will have to undergo a surgery on his heart to normalize his breathing. Any donation through GoFundMe would be greatly appreciated. No money is too small.
