Help for Abby & her family

I would like to tell you about an amazing girl named Abby. Abby is 11 years old and was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Its something that as parents we would never imagine happening to us but then it does and it leaves you devastated. Not knowing what to do and wondering what is going to happen. About a week ago Abby was a normal girl who went to school, played with her friends, laughed and joked around with her family but she started to get headaches. Her mother (Diana) took Abby into the doctor and they diagnosed her with migraines. On February 22nd 2016 that all changed when Abby was having a horrible headache, vomiting and began to run a fever. Her mother took her into the ER only to get the bad news. Abby has a brain tumor. She was transferred from the local hospital to Children's hospital in Minneapolis, MN where imaging showed a golf ball sized tumor in her cerebellum. Abby has underwent surgery to place a ventricular drain to help alleviate the pressure on the brain but this is only the beginning. Her mother, Diana, is a Registered Nurse who works everyday to care for patients and help them in their time of need. Today it is Abby and Diana that need our help. Treatment for brain tumors are scary, expensive, emotional and tiring. No child should ever have to face this diagnosis but they do.
