Medical Expenses After I225 Jeep Attack

Hi everyone, This fundraiser is to support my medical expenses after being in the hospital for a week due to the I225 attack where a Jeep driver tried to run over folks who were protesting the death of Elijah McClain. I tried to escape the vehicle and fell over the bridge resulting in a broken leg and fractured back. I remained in the hospital for a week and had to undergo 2 surgeries on my leg, but am recovering at home with the help of family and friends. The bills are starting to trickle in so if you have the means to support me and assist my healing during this time, it would be greatly appreciated! Hospital Visit - $5,300 (this is my out-of-pocket maximum left to pay after my insurance coverage) Medical Transportation: $200 (my insurance does not cover this but I need assistance getting to all of my scheduled appointments) Wheelchair and Knee Scooter: $0 (thank you to my friends who were able to provide these necessary mobility devices for me!) If for any reason I owe less than the requested amount, proceed will be donated to the Black Mama Bail Out fellowship program (with receipts).
