Help us march for a change in Washington DC

Impact Demand, the youth led organization, is helping to raise money to attend the revolutionary march in Washington DC. Most of the youth organizers have been actively engaged in the Black Lives Matter movement for years but following the death of George Floyd there was a fire that ignited the country and many marginalized group could not be ignored any longer. Impact Demand was started by protesters who help to lead the change in Madison and since then have been focusing on policy and community unity and engagement.  The trip to DC is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet other youth organizers across the country and to reinvigorate those back home in Madison with new-found energy. To do this we will need supplies such as baking soda, goggles and water bottles along with first aid kits for safety purposes during possible interaction with the police. We also need to raise money for transportation and shelter to make sure we have place to stay and somewhere to go after protesting.
