Hunters Medical Bills

lanket/tuna sharer out there. The bond that we have, I have never experienced anything stronger and I love him more than anything or anyone in the world. In all honestly, the past few years have been pretty tough for me, and i'd go as far as saying he's my only reason for not giving up on life entirely.

On 26th July, Hunter went for his annual check and the vets recommended a dental on 2nd September. We booked him in for the dental and the bloods revealed elevated liver enzymes. After this, we decided not to do the dental and I went away with 4 weeks with medication. After going back to the vets a month later, his liver enzymes had almost doubled, a normal reading being 60 and Hunter's measuring at 900.

He is going to need an operation to have multiple biopsies taken to determine the cause after the bloods and scans didn't reveal the problem. This operation takes me over my insurance cover limit unfortunately :(
