Support Lynette Turek Fund

Ms. Lynette Turek, a USPTA Elite teaching pro, has been diagnosed with cancer. Lynette, or Ms. Lyn as her tennis students call her, has been in our area for 22 years. Not only does she teach tennis, she also has made this her ministry. Ms. Lyn has spent countless hours in fundraising through the Muddy Turek Memorial Doubles Tennis Tournaments. Many have benefitted from these: the Leukemia Society; a receptionist at Brazoswood who was diagnosed with cancer; a young 3 year old boy in our area who has leukemia; the resurfacing of the Brazoswood and MacLean tennis courts; and help for a homeless family. In her own words, she "will still teach tennis lessons and camps as long as the MASTER allows."
