First the derecho; now facing homelessness.

Hello everyone! My name is jasmine and I’m the second oldest out of 7! I’m making this go fund me for my mother DeAnn Yirkovsky. DeAnn is a single mother of 7 children (ages 3-26) who live in Cedar Rapids Iowa, as most of you know on Aug 10th 2020 we were hit by the derecho storm. The derecho had done 700 miles worth of damages to our city. To broken windows, roofs torn off, trees ripped out the ground, no electricity (going on day 9) , no hot water, no way to keep food in the household. My mother DeAnn is now being evicted from her home, after asking her landlord for help to put the tarps up, because during the storm a tree had fallen onto her roof and is leaking water all throughout her house and instead of getting help they gave her an eviction notice! I’m raising this money for my mother to help her get a new house and back on her feet!! Anything helps!! I want to thank everyone in advance! Thank you!! From mine to yours.
