24 hours for Carlos Espinoza
Carlos Cruz Espinoza: my personal and dearly beloved hunting partner, mentor, and best friend. To his family, he was an uncle, brother, son, and fiancé. Now he is a guardian angel to all who knew and loved him.
October 21st, 2019 is a day myself, his family, and his friends will never forget. It’s the day that Carlos took his own life. Since then life has never been the same. The days, weeks, and months have come and gone, but the pain from that day has never left.
Could I have done more? Could I have said more? Was there something that I missed? If you have lived through this trauma, you know that at any given moment there are a million questions that infiltrate your mind. That is why I am speaking up and standing up, not only for Carlos, but for every victim and family members of all victims of suicide. It is my greatest honorto spend the hours from 7:00pm on October 20th, 2020 to 7:00pm on October 21st, 2020 running/walking/moving as much as my body will let me. My hope is to have those who want to join me, be able to come to a place of comfort and solitude and put in a few steps or miles inhonor of Carlos.
An donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
