Melissa's Heart

Please help me in raising money for an angel amongst us, my hero and best friend Melissa Stathakis. It is kind of ironic that a heart that is so full of love and kindness is very sick. Melissa is scheduled to undergo a Quadruple Bypass next week due to 80% blockage in her heart. This was very unexpected as she is only 44 years old and wasn't even aware that she had a heart condition. Thankfully it was found by happenstance. Although she does have minimal health insurance, as you can imagine she will be out of work for quite a while after the surgery . I would like to raise money to assist in paying for her medical bills, utilities, house payment and all the other necessities to relieve her of any added stress during her time of need and recovery. Now let me tell you a little about Melissa, she is a loving mother of 4 kids, a devoted wife, and quite possibly the best person in the entire world. I know that is a rather bold comment but I think you would agree if you know her or ever had the honor of meeting her. Her life has held many challenges, most of which I believe the majority of us would have succumbed to, and I have never heard her utter one word of woe or complaint. She is selfless and always thinks of everyone other than her self. I am embarrassed to admit that although I should have been her rock through all of these years, instead she has been mine. I love her with all of my heart and soul and thank God that I have been blessed to have her in my life.
