Can you help ‘Little Luna’ to see a Neurologist??

Donation protected
Hi, here we are again! Firstly I would like to thank each and every one of you who donated to Little Luna’s initial fundraiser to get her up and running with vet and physiotherapy appointments, nappies, doggy shoes, harnesses and finally a fab new pink wheelchair :) Little Luna is an inspiration, and I will try to copy her original story down below for you to read! We now find ourselves at the next stage of Luna’s journey! Her physiotherapist is fantastic, Zellah treats Luna every week and shows me what exercises we need to do to make her legs stronger, with only 3 weeks of physio so far, there is already a huge difference in her back leg strength, in actual fact I was sitting in the front room the other day, Luna started dragging herself over to me, then out of nowhere she stood up!!!! She actually stood up!!!! On her own!!!! I was completely blown away, this little girl that came to the UK just 6 or 7 weeks ago dragging her legs behind her, is now trying to stand up on her own! I know it’s very early days, but wow, a huge difference in such a short space of time. So, Little Luna’s physio is working fantastically well, her sessions were costing us £50 per week , this was being paid for out of Luna’s original go fund me pot, all of which has nearly gone :( Zella, visited on Thursday to do Luna’s treatment, while she was here she told me that she no longer wants to charge me a fee to treat Luna she told me that she knows the only money we have is what we have raised from donations and that we’re running out quickly. Well, what could I say to that? I cried, I thanked her, then I cried again ! What an absolutely amazing thing for her to do! I am and will be forever grateful to Zellah. Now we come to the main reason for this fundraiser!! On assessments from both Luna’s vet and physiotherapist, it is extremely apparent that Little Luna has feeling in both of her legs, from a Neurological point of view this actually means that there could be a chance of Little Luna’s legs working again, which would be totally amazing, however, a referral for Luna to see a Neurologist is going to cost us between £2000 and £5000 and that’s just for the referral I have no idea how we could ever raise such a huge amount of money, but I’d like to try! I want to give Little Luna any and every opportunity I can, she’s a fighter, she has a zest for life and I promised her I would do everything I could to help her!! We’ve got this far, I’m determined to keep going, she’s just a baby at 18 months old, if we can raise enough money to pay for a referral for her, we’ll know for definite if her paralysis is operable!! I really need to give Little Luna this chance, can you please help me to make it happen? Thank you in advance to all of you xx Please follow Luna’s journey on Facebook ‘Little Luna’s Life’ which is updated regularly and shows her original story, she also has an Instagram page in the same name!
