Our family suffered a terrible loss this past weekend when Madelyn Doty suddenly and quite unexpectedly passed away in her sleep. At this time, we still don't know what caused this to happen.
Maddie was a 14-year-old tomboy who had a broad range of interests including sports and music. She shared her family's passion for hockey and was a defenseman for the KV Ravens. She was also an alto in the choir at Millenium Middle School and was always singing wherever she went. In addition to her extra-curricular activities, Maddie was also an honor-roll student. She loved all animals, especially dogs.
Maddie was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
