help a trans woman bridge her insurance gap

Hi everyone! This year I began to prioritize my surgical transition goals. I had FFS on May 22nd, this year and have recovered well! That said, my journey is far from over as I have yet to acquire the funds for my top surgery. I am blessed to have insurance that covers most of my surgical expenses. However, after consulting with my surgeon, he determined it was best to also perform a mastopexy—which is not covered. I’ve gotten pretty desperate and have tried every hormone combination that was offered to me. That said, due to the effects of an anti-androgen known to cause issues with development, i haven’t had much luck. This is the only thing standing between me and top surgery—8k. It’s not a lot but it’s also
not something I just have on hand. This is the second time I’ve made one of these to help me transition, so I know it’s a lot. Still, it’s that serious to me that I am willing to take whatever criticism that comes with reaching out again.
