Help Heal Taytum, Brody, & Delaney
Donation protected
On August 29th of this year Lisa Griggs Hollingsworth passed away. She is survived by her oldest daughter Taytum (14), son Brody (12), and youngest daughter Delaney (6).
From the time children are born, they count on their parents to provide a sense of safety and guidance. When a child loses a parent, especially a Mother, they do not know what to do with those feelings. Grief does not happen on a specific time table, the process of grieving may look very different from one child to the next.
The challenges facing these 3 will be an uphill battle, which includes;
*Accepting the significance of the loss (it changes them forever).
*Allowing the grief process to unfold on their own terms as they work through painful feelings.
*Transitioning into an environment where the parent is no longer physically present.
*Maintaining a sense of connection with the lost parent while allowing themselves to live their life.
This page is to help the children stay on a positive path for their future with therapy and other ways to guide them in the right direction. It’s important to help Taytum, Brody, and Delaney what happen, but to move to acceptance.
