BLACK LIVES ACTIVIST OF KENOSHA

We are a new organization of out of Kenosha Wisconsin. We felt the need to form after the shooting of Jacob Blake. We are looking for support with rebuilding our community and continue to fight for justice. 

The mission of BLAK [Black Lives Activists of Kenosha] is to address systemic injustice and white supremacy in Kenosha County through a radical, transformative and inclusive approach at building community. We are lead by people directly impacted by the issues we advance. Our central focus is reimagining what “safety” looks like for Black Kenoshians through the reallocation of resources from policing and the criminal justice system and into community by our advocacy and programming addressing inequities in employment, housing, education, food access and health.
