Campaigning for the Olympics in sailing for the USA is like running a business, and I am the CEO. I assume responsibility for all parts of the business, including finances. The USA is one of the only countries in the world that doesn’t have government funding for Olympic sports, so all resources are privately fundraised. For athletes, especially in a high-cost sport like sailing, fundraising becomes part of the job in order to run the business full-time and have the most professional campaign possible.

My mission is to bring a medal home to the US.
