Kerri Powell Farmer

We are asking for help for our very sweet and dear friend, Kerri. She has been battling cancer since April of 2019. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated. She’s THE strongest woman we know! The following are her own words... ❤️

“Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalms 46:10) Over the last couple of months, I’ve realized that this is the message I am to submit to. Since April 2019, I have been dealing with breast cancer. My faith remained strong through each step of chemo, surgery, more chemo and radiation. My final surgery was scheduled for Aug 3, this year. I would be home free! I had beat cancer, or so I thought. I would go on with my life as usual. However, like we all know sometimes our plans are not His plans. On July 17, I woke up and could not use my left extremities. Long story short, the cancer was back, and had spread to my brain. I was angry at first, not just for me but for my kids, they have already been through so much in their short lives! But then, that still small voice reminded me “Be still.”. When that’s the only choice we have, God’s spirit is able to speak in a way we are unable to experience when we are so busy. I’ve been out of work since the beginning of July, and it is amazing how God has provided for our family at just the right times! I know there is purpose for this pain. So if anyone is questioning things in your own life. Be still, and you will hear from Him! ❤️
