Need a helping hand

On May 15, 2016 my son was driving my truck when he was involved in an accident which totalled out our only form of transportation. A good friend did loaned us the funds to get another ride which is in bad need of fixing up. (tie rods and lower ball joints need replacing and transmission needs serviced) Since that time we lost the lease on our little shop and at same time David had ended up in hospital only to be sent home week later not able to walk or do anything for himself. It took a few weeks but we got him well and back on his feet where we were able to start to sell at outdoor fleamarket a couple days. On Oct 11th our world was once again turned upside down when David had a major stroke. 10 days after they not only found 2 clots on in his lungs and one in his left leg, but also a slow bleeder on his brain. This gave us all a scare as we did not know how we would handle all this. Prayers and more prayers and the wonderful doctors at UAMS was able to get it all under control. Since Nov. 2nd he has been in Rehab where I have spent every day but 3 of them with him. He still has a long road to recovery which means I will be providing 24/7 care for him now that I get to bring him home Dec 2. Living off just his disablity is a struggle since I am not able to bring in the extra funds right now with sales from our little shop.
The main help we need at the moment is to be able to get our van fixed so it will be reliable to make trips to doctors appointments and what little improvements that need to be done around the house to make taking care of David a tad easier that his insurance does not cover.
