Remote Portraits in a Time of Distance

Hi, our names are Dovilė and Matteo. We're professional photographers based in Florence, and if you don't know us yet, this is our story. 

In 2020, we had to cancel almost every photoshoot because of the Coronavirus pandemic. During that time, we decided to shoot this visual diary for our son Umberto. Thanks to many generous people who donated, we could print some of them and organize an exhibition in September. 

We just started a new project to connect with our friends and former clients in this time of distance. Thanks to an application called Shutter Studio, we're shooting remote portraits using their smartphone camera.

We're now hoping to connect with new couples and families that hopefully will come to Florence and Tuscany as soon as travelling is possible again. Everyone who wants to be a part of this project will have a 30-minute online photoshoot with us, and a couple of portraits that we'll share on our website and social media.
