Main Breaker and Hot Water

Greetings.
My name is Vikki Hall-Webster. I worked as a graphic designer at The Morning Call, a local newspaper until I became disabled after 3 brain surgeries for a Chiari I Malformation. I require an aide to come to my home and care for my needs. My wonderful husband Fred is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served 3 tours of duty with the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Fred is also a forklift operator and worked at DHL until they closed their local facility in 2009 at the beginning of the recession.
After that, Fred was unable to find steady work throughout the recession and we were forced to live off of our savings until Fred got a job with Conway Freight in 2013.
Conway laid off their forklift operators this past February and Fred has been working temp jobs ever since. Not a good time for our electricity in our home to malfunction.
Last Sunday (7/24/16), we lost the electricity in half of our house including the kitchen and bathroom.
Since we had just received our Social Security we were able to pay for the main breaker to be replaced.
But this leaves us unable to pay essential bills as every penny is budgeted. We have yet to pay PP&L, so we may yet lose our power, Meals on Wheels, since I cannot prepare my own food. In addition, we have been without hot water for 18 months now. We need to replace the coil in our furnace
We have no credit debt, but we do have a great deal of medical bills for both myself and Fred, especially since we are still paying off medical bills for Fred's prostate cancer treatments a year and a half ago.
We have struggled for so many years and are honest, hard-working people, but we have fallen on hard times. So, we turn to you for any assistance, and we thank you for your generosity and send prayers for your well-being.
