Brianna's Future

For 3 years, Brianna has been in treatment for chronic myleoid leukemia, but not even cancer can stop her from pursuing her dream of a college eduation! While hospitalized with leukemia, Brianna's nurses made such a difference in her life, she realized she wanted to have the same opportunity to create change in the lives of others. So during treatment, she earned her CNA license, taking her first step toward a career in healthcare.  She is currently trying to continue her education at Piedmont Virginia Community College as the next step toward her future, but even though she works long hours, it is still not enough to pay her college tuition - the full amount, because financial aid is not an option for her. She wants to be the first in her family to pursue a post high school degree to be in a better position to help her parents raise and support her 5 siblings. Brianna's next semester of school will cost between $3,000 and $4,000 for classes alone. We need to raise these funds quickly for her to be able to enroll for the Spring semester.
