Bismarck Alley Art
A unique partnership has developed to create public art in Bismarck. Dakota West Arts Council, a local non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, and a six-member volunteer group of the 2016 Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program have teamed-up to create an outdoor gallery of art. The team hopes that the community will join them by investing in Bismarck Alley Art.
Funds raised by this group of volunteers will help Dakota West Arts Council pay for artist talent, paint, brushes, other artistic applications, maintenance and hopefully future alley art projects. It's estimated that up to 50 artists could be involved with the colorful transformation of the alley located downtown on the south side of the Parkade between 5th and 6th Streets.
With your help and that of many local businesses and organizations, Bismarck Alley Art will happen. It will light up our downtown, spark conversation and provide a backdrop for special events, photos and more for years to come.
