A. Margarita and Bert de Klerk Family Relief Fund

Hello friends and family, With great sorrow we announce that our family home and artist studio has been lost in the Holiday Farm/McKenzie Fire. We have lost more than just personal possessions, but a lifestyle on the river that included our extended family. This fund will help not only Bert and Annie, our two kids Cedric and Isabelle who are both attending college this year (Isabelle remotely), but also Ellie de Klerk our cousin, Michelle and Karl Annie’s sister and father. We are insured for the house but we fear that it won’t cover our losses. Annie’s entire leather and painting studio is gone with all tools, inventory and supplies, Bert’s guide gear and raft, all fly fishing gear,our cabins that family were living in, all of our computers and electronics, film gear, our car, antiques, garden tractors, tool shop, Bert’s entire collection of his guitars and sound equipment, household effects and clothing. We will use this money to buy a trailer to put on property and personal effects that we need immediately, so that we can rebuild.
