Kerala Flood Relief from Donegal
Donation protected
As floods and heavy rains continue in Kerala, hundreds of people have lost their lives and over 200,000 have been displaced. With 13 of the 14 districts being severely affected, 23 bridges collapsed, 33 dams opened, 365 lives lost, 211+ landslides, 20000+ houses destroyed, 10,000 km of roads damaged, loss to property and crops has been estimated at 1 billion EUR(80 billions INR). These estimates are based on initial reports and it will take at least weeks before a final impact and range of destruction can be analysed.
DIMA (Donegal Indian Malayalees Association) is kindly requesting everyone to donate for the affected ones.
