Chris Nance - ULV Football Alumni

Unfortunately we have lost our fraternal Brother, Chris Nance, as he was called home on May 2nd 2016 due to complications of a heart transplant . Chris leaves behind his lovely wife Toni Nance, Son Christopher Nance (13), daughter Alexis Nance (5), Mother Bonnie Bibbs and sister Connie Nance.
Chris was a two year distinguished running back at the University of La Verne (ULV) 1990-1992 where he exemplified excellence on and the field. He is A member of the graduating class of 1992.
Chris emobodies the very spirit and essence that being a part of the ULV Football Alumnus endows. Many of us come into the program/institution not fully developed physically, mentally or spiritually and some of us upon completion of our time La Verne are still developing as men of honor and men of great character. However, the "tradition" that is ULV Football Fraternal Order is like a time released capsule with a lifetime warranty. Those reflections/memories/experiences help inform all us that played for ULV to be better husbands, better fathers, better sons, and better men. No doubt, Chris was a phenomenal football player and we should recognize and honor that but I would like to think...no, I know he became a better man as a result of his experience at La Verne.
We have a strong sense of Brotherhood here at La Verne...Black, White, Brown, etc "we are brothers...we will always be brothers!"
So we are not going to say goodbye to our brother rather we will see you in the next quarter! We love you!

I am asking for any monetary donations/support to offset some of the costs and expenses that the family has endured. I am hoping all of La Verne Leo's will contribute this cause and send our Brother home the right way!
