Support for Tyrell Bogg's Family

Tyrell “Rell” Boggs was a devoted father, husband, son, and committed to bringing joy to all those that were fortunate to embrace his presence. He dedicated his life to his family often putting his own desires aside for their happiness. He had in infectious smile and laughter that would light up a room. Tyrell was an incredible human with a gentle soul.

Tragically on Sunday, August 7th Tyrell was murdered in front of his children and niece in Philadelphia. He essentially saved their lives by shielding them from the bullets propelling his body in front of the children. As they were walking home 3 assailants posthumously took his life in a matter of minutes. Miraculously none of the children were physically harmed.  The tragic nature of this incident has left his entire family devastated beyond comprehension.

The family is asking for the communities support as this has been a financial and emotional hardship. The untimely death and provision Tyrell provided his family is gone. He departed this Earth and his children and wife are left to ensure his going home service is one of dignity and grace. Please extend whatever God lays on your heart to support this inconsolable situation.

We are endowed by God’s unchanging hand and we know He is omnipresent. In all His perfect wisdom and greatness we seek his presence at this time. We ask that you continue to keep his family in prayer as they survive the devastation of losing such a man of character. God’s timing is not always aligned to ours and so although 29 years seems short that’s a lifetime…and so we celebrate the life of Tyrell forever. Thank you all for your donations and contributions.
