Jerry scarpati medical fund

My name is Rich Zarychta, and I am Vice President of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), Branch 387 Yonkers NY. Our branch is trying to raise money for our past president Jerry Scarpati. Jerry was president for 22 years and before that a shop steward. Over the course of his two plus decades leading this branchJerry has always asked the membership to step up when asked to contribute to causes that have come across his desk.For the last year Jerry has been fighting a courageous battle against stage 4 brain and stage 3 lung cancer. With Jerry and his wife Maryann both being retired they live on a fixed income. Throw in raising a daughter who also has some medical issues and you can imagine the mountain of expenses facing the family. Myself along with the branch's current president Anthony Marchesi would not be where we are today without the guidance  and knowledge Jerry passed down to us. Jerry has given everything to this branch and this branch would be so grateful to any donation that that would help the Scarpati family  at this very stressful time.
