This is my uncle, Larry Beck. He has always been a great friend and has always been there to bring the family together in the hardest of times. He has always been one of the most positive people in my life. Nothing seems to get him down and he always strives to bring a smile to everyone around him. He is kind, funny, generous, and caring. He has never been one to ask for help... which is why I am writing this today.
On March 17, 2016, Larry went in for a routine surgery to have a small mass removed from his neck/shoulder area. The doctor was almost certain before surgery that it was nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, a biopsy after surgery proved differently and Larry was diagnosed with stage III Melanoma cancer. Since the surgery, Larry has seen numerous doctors and has had multiple scans done to determine the next step in treatment. As of right now, the doctors have determined that the cancer is in his lymph nodes. He will have surgery on April 27, 2016 to remove two more masses; one on his back under his neck and the other under his arm. Larry will be in the hospital for a few days for recovery. After surgery, his doctors will determine his next action of treatment. As you can imagine, these procedures and surgeries are very costly. Larry is a single and hard working man. Unfortunately, all of the doctors appointments, procedures, and treatments will be taking time away from work. Work that he really needs to be able to pay these medical bills along with his normal living expenses. We are asking for any donation to help Larry keep up with these bills. We are hoping to have enough to pay for his deductible and help keep up with his living expenses while out of work.
We would be so thankful for any donation amount. Larry is the type of person to always pay it forward. I know that after he wins this fight, he would love nothing more than to pay it forward by helping others in need. Right now Larry needs our help in this fight. Please help in any way you can.
