Help Liana eat on her own

Donation protected
A day after mothers day I found out that we were going to have a baby! We were so excited and waiting anxiously for our gift. At my 20 week check up they discovered that our baby girl had a two vessel umbilical  cord vs the usual three. We started to worry about what that could mean but everyone assured us it was going to be ok. They wanted me to follow up and do lots of ultrasounds to make sure baby was growing good. Becuase of not recieving as much nutrients from the two vessels our girl was always measuring 2 weeks behind. All this time we were hoping and praying everything would be ok and that there would be no complications. Unfortunately our spirited girl didn't want to flip and was breech the entire pregnancy resulting in a c-section. We came home with our Liana shortly after her birth on January 9th. She was so tiny at 6lbs, but was the sweetest thing we had ever seen. Everything at home was going great for the first three weeks. No problems of any kind, she really was the perfect baby who never cried! Then for some reason around when she was three weeks, she began crying when she would eat. Cry, latch on, latch off, cry, and the cycle went on whether it was with the bottle or breast. We tried giving her reflux medecine, but nothing seemed to help. Eventually it got so bad to where she would barely eat anything all day, and she was admitted to the hospital at almost two month of age. The doctors said she wasn't gaining enough weight and in went the ng feeding tube that goes through her nose to her stomach. It was the first time I had gut wrenching emotions looking at my sweet innocent baby as the tube went it, and her cries were heartbreaking. The doctors sent us home telling us the tube would only be in for a couple of weeks. As the weeks and months go by, Liana isn't any closer to eating on her own. She takes in about 5-10 ml orally every time we offer her the bottle, and sometimes nothing at all. It breaks my heart to watch her not have the basic need or want to enjoy milk. I keep thinking every day was there something I should have done or not done. Maybe something could have prevented this. The doctors have done tests to see if there was anything wrong with her and can't find anything to say as to why she won't eat. I've been frantically searching every possible option to help her, to figure out whats wrong and how we can get her to eat. Then I came across NoTube. Its a program from Austria who have specialists, doctors, psycologists who work with you and your baby to wean them off the tube and get them to eat. When I read all about it my heart was filled with hope after being so terrified that she was going to stay like this forever. All I could think about was how amazing it would be if she started to eat. No more her pulling out her tube several times a week. No more crying and traumatizing her from putting it back in. No more tube irritating her nose/throat, and keeping her stomach sphincter open to encourage more reflux. No more having to worry about water getting in when bathing her. No more having to worry about it getting caught on something. No more having to take the feeding pump everywhere with us and having to work our schedule around it. And all we would have left is a special sweet baby girl who smiles and giggles when she is tube free. Please help us achieve our goals and have Liana eating again. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this till the end. God bless.
